Day 70 to Dornoch

Alness to Dornoch 21 miles.Started at 08.30 finished at 16.45. Walked the direct & quiet lanes to Tain - very uneventful walk, lunch at Tain. Crossed Dornoch firth then quiet lane into Dornoch. Feet really achy today - luckily the rest of the days are shorter. Temperature higher than the average. I think it has not rained since I crossed the borders (easily to forget the less than good times)-in fact been sunny -very lucky. Checked into Trevose BB £35. (some trivia-Madonna has been to this village, her daughter was baptised in the village church and she and Guy got married near by) xx Total miles so far 986.
