Day 69 - Thursday 6th September -JOG 120 miles

Inverness to Alness 20 miles. As I walked towards Kessock Bridge a road sign had 'JOG 120 miles'! Fantastic !!& periodically there would be more road signs as a countdown. Took cycle path to Tore then A9 which has wide grass verge so quite reasonable. Crossed Cromarty firth, bridge very long and it was a blowy day. discovered lots of seals along the shoreline. Late lunch at an heritage centre, Foulis point. More A9 then B road to Alness. Wanted to go a bit further to Invergordon but accommodation was full when i rang around with my mobile. Checked into Morven B+B £45 XX 965 miles walked.
