Day 71 - one thousand miles!
Dornoch to Brora 17.5 miles. Started at 8.45 finished at 18.00. A much more pleasanter walk today-Walked through Royal Dornoch golf course - continued along coastal path to Embo. Then minor road along shoreline of Loch Fleet. Had 4 miles of A9 to Golspie for lunch & then a lovely 6 mile coastal path to Brora which passes Dunrobin Castle which is in a fairytale style. Visited castle & grounds. There was also falconry display which I caught the end of. Walked along beach for last 2 miles. Knees & feet sore today! Checked into Royal Marine hotel £85. B+B full, except one over a mile out of village which I had secured. I started to walk there but then changed my mind - just too far. Miles walked 1003 1/2 XX

Hey Marisa - the end is in sight! Keep going girl, you can do it. I know you are tired, I know you are weary, I know you are missing home, but you are so, so close. One last push! Looking forward to seeing you when you get back. Hey your car is going great - went really well when I drove on down to the South of France recently! The re-spray looks good too! See you soon girl.
