Day 56 - West Highland Way

Kilsyth to Drymen. 16 miles. Started at 8.00 finished at16.30. Came upon old railway path at Milton of Campsie all way to Strathblane - Nice pathway. Stopped for lunch, then joined West Highland Way trail north of town. The trail starts from Milngavie a little south from here. Already come across beautiful countryside, quite excited about trail. Also met walkers in abundance - mostly folk carrying camping gear!!. Walked trail into Drymen. Despite loads of BB's, no vacancies - there is a wedding on too! Got a lift to next village, Balmaha- checked into Oak Tree Inn £50. Been ringing around for tomorrow- everywhere full as bank holiday weekend! Need to ponder over this one. XX
