Day 45 - Monday 13th August 2007- Pianola

Garigill to Slaggyford - 10 miles. Started at 8.30am and finished at 13.30. Lovely walk, level terrain. No pub in this village so went to Knarsdale (about 1 Mile) for lunch. Booked into Yew Tree Chapel - £30. which is a lovely converted chapel keeping a lot of its features. Evening meal plus a much needed clothes wash. Phil & I happy to be walking together and walking same stretches. Temporary filling has just chipped off - where's a dentist when you need one! Will probably have to wait until Edinburgh. The lady of the house demonstrated playing the pionola which was in her lounge, she also didn't seem to mind the constant barking of her dog throught out the whole demonstaration! xx
