Day 47 - Wednesday 15th August -vindolanda fort

Once Brewed YHA to Bellingham. Via Vindolanda Fort. (one Hour to view site)-Worth a visit excavation on site happens yearly. 14.5 miles. Started at 9.30 finished at 17.40. Walked 2 more miles of Hadrian's wall, which was quite stunning then northerly to Bellingham. Pleasant walk, a couple of rain showers but remains very wet underfoot- which is becoming tedious!!
