Day 31 - lost the waymark again

Day 31 - Uttoxeter to Stanshope. About 17.5miles. Started at 9am and finished at 17.15. Took half an hour to find Style near railway! Followed Staffordshire Way to Rocester - looking forward to latte but no cafe and the only pub was closed and for sale! Managed to get some snacks though. Passed Ellastone but avoided Limestone Way as didn't want to cross endless fields with poor waymarks. Followed wooded ordley brook, walked past Blore and entered Peak District National Park. The YHA at llam full as kids booked - rang in advance - walked a further 2 miles to Stanshope Hall - kings room only left - £45, but lovely large room with a lovely bath. No local shops so having dinner with other guests at 7pm.Looking forward to that as was very quiet with people today.xx
