Day 29 - flying

Day 29. Newport to Stafford- 12 miles. Started at 9am and finished at 15.00. Went on the way of millenium trail- an old railway line. Lost trail at Gnosall but found it a mile later which was a relief as I did not want to walk the remaining 6 miles on the road and also very pleased as had no map to hand. Pleasant walk and another sunny day. Staying with childhood friend Mandy and her husband Mitch, at Penkridge.First went to attend to Mandy's horse and then had an amazing opportunity to fly with Mitch in his microlite aeroplane - how cool! 1600 feet. In air for 15mins and had short go at steering the machine- but was worried i might flip it so happy to give controls back. Loved it!! xx
