Day 28 - Back on the road again!
Day 28 - Shrewsbury to Newport - 14.5miles. Dry and sunny day but spent all day on the roads which was somewhat tedious but at least my feet stayed dry! Started at 7.30am and finished at 14.00. Checked into the Royal Victoria hotel - £47.50. Accommodation busy due to a number of events being on - hotel not that impressive xx

Hey Marisa, Congratulations on your fantastic achievement so far despite the dreadful weather and pains and aches! You are doing real good girl and we are all cheering you on (from the comfort of our sofa's of course!). Keep the news going and don't forget to let us know more about the interesting encounters along the way! What happened to the guy with the dog? How useful is your poncho?
