Day 24 - Monday 23rd July - More Rain!! umbrellas
Kington to Knighton, 13.5 miles. Long and hard one due to constant drizzle and some winds. Hooked up with Jon and a Dutch couple today. The Dutch couple both use umbrellas as they walk which is quite unusual which I found amusing. The walk has fantastic views. Started at 9am, finished at 16.00. Checked into Byford with Jon £18 each. One of the BB's which Jon had booked ahead has been effected by floods, however she recommended this B&B. Jon went over the see the flooded house, as he had a book delivered there. The folks of the BB were lovely. I enjoyed the Offas Dyke and I will come off it after 2 miles tomorrow and head towards the small village of Clun. Jon is undecided whether to carry on offas dyke due to the weather conditions not improving xx

Hey Marisa - Do you realise you have walked over 300 miles so far!!! How fantastic is that. Well done girl - you deserve a big hand.
