Day 19 - Wednesday 18th July- Offas Dyke
Chepstow to Redbrook on the Offa's Dyke path. About 15 miles. Started at 8.10am, finished at 17.00. Stepped quickly back into England as I left Chepstow and it was a delight to walk today, due to outstanding natural beauty. Walked by the River Wye and through woods, had lunch at Brockweir and continued alongside riverside path. Enjoyed all the senses being stimulated. At Bigsweir Bridge walking through the woods, I lost the path. However I walked in the right direction but was parallel to the dyke (shame). The paths met at Redbrook. Checked into The Bell Inn £35. xx
