Day 66 - Monday 3rd September - loch ness

Invergarry to Invermoriston - 15 miles. Started at 8.45 finished at 15.15. Walked along Loch Oich, then back onto Caledonian Canal. Stopped for lunch at Fort Augustus - busy tourist village & the start of Loch Ness. The trail alongside Loch Ness goes through a forest, however, unfortunately the view is shielded by the forest, so decided to take the road & got better views. Good weather again bar 15 minute shower. Checked into Georgeston BB £30 XX 918 miles walked.
