Day 62 - Thursday 30th August 2007 another magical day
Kingshouse to Kinlochleven - 8 miles but first caught bus into Glencoe (11 miles) as a fellow walker said it would be great to see while here and indeed the 20 min bus ride each way was good- fantastic mountain range either side of the road. Started walk at 10am and finished at 13.30. Ascent of Devil's staircase & easy desent down at this point, there was a number of people snaking up the staircase, maybe due my late start but it was evident that this is a popular trail this morning due to the amount of people-anyway it was another magical day on the West highland way, just stunning especially desending from the top of devils staircase and through the vally. Meeting Leah & Suzanne whom I met at Findhorn this year - received text this morning they are holidaying around fort William, so delighted about that. Checked into Forest View B&B - £30.XX. Total miles to date 867.
