Day 36 todmorden/hebden bridge

Standedge to Todmorden/Hebden Bridge. Started at 8.15am and finished at 15.30.Quite a windy start but that settled. Easy walk and easy to follow today. Greater Manchester and Huddersfield are seen at a distance. Stopped at White House Inn for a latte, but had to wait for it to open. Drizzing rain for two hours then - reached Stoodley Pike monument - the rain had stopped for a while so the views were lovely at that point. Adapted to the trail more today and felt more comfortable about it. Staying with Pam whom I met on an walking holiday this year in Todmorden and will take a rest day tomorrow and visit the interesting village of Hebden . xx
