Day 7 Reg Saville

Bodmin to Camelford. Did about 18miles, as lost path towards the end! Started at 8.30am, finished 17.45pm. went onto Camel trail ( an old railway line) to Poley's Bridge - by chance came across Reg Saville on the trail, 79yrs old and completed John O'Groats to Lands End 5 years ago. He is in the Guiness book of records as oldest chap to complete the walk. He did it in 55days, and walked every day. His picture is in the theme park at Lands End and his picture is next to Ian Bothams walking shoes apparently- A Nice chap, and he gave me some good tips !
Then on to Camelford Way- really beautiful. Oh and then met Jane 50 yr old woman walking north to south (JOGLE) . As we were speaking her backup motorhome came around the corner carrying all her gear, lovely!
Dry all day . Checked into Countryman Hotel -£30. Lovely bath and headed out for food. went to local pub, where a pet pig named Wilber was roaming around in the garden.xx
